After nearly a decade of running my Physical Therapy practice in Portland, I am so grateful to have taken some precious time in this last year to rest, reflect, and renew. As a healer, this opportunity to spend time in the forest, start a homestead garden, connect with local community, and spend less time bound to technology has been a true gift!
So with the start of 2018, I am excited to announce that I have opened a new practice: Healing Pathway ~ Holistic Physical Therapy & Bodywork, in the heart of White Salmon, Wa.
I am honored to be sharing a beautiful office space with Tender Wellness and co-activating the White Salmon Wellness Collective within the building (288 E Jewett, across from Feast and Ace).
I am carrying forward the elements of my previous practice that feel most nourishing to myself and my patients:
~ Extended treatment times (60-90 min sessions) one-on-one within a peaceful wellness setting.
~ Providing a goal oriented approach to physical wellness by integrating manual therapy, individualized exercise /movement re-ed, and educating/empowering patients with self care tools.
~ >15 years experience, combining my skill set as a Doctor of Physical Therapy with the intuitive hands of a Licensed Massage Therapist
~ Accessible rates (with longer sessions) for self-pay patients compared to PT industry
What is different for me is simplification. With a shift to a self-pay/ cash based practice, I will not have additional office staff, a reduction of charting/ authorizations, and less billing challenges.
I will be out of network for all insurances and will provide a super bill to patients that desire to self submit. I will offer to bill auto claims directly.
I suggest that all first time clients that see me, have an Initial Evaluation and for a follow-up plan they may choose a path of either Holistic Physical Therapy or Therapeutic Massage.
With thanks, Holly
